ABOUT "DANSEMA"
A contemporary dance festival for children and youth? What is that? It is a festival of professional contemporary dance performances full of discoveries and surprises not only for children but also for the whole family. Organizers of the festival -public organization „db PRODUCTIONS“ and choreographer Birutė Banevičiūtė- believe that understanding of movement and love for contemporary dance begins from the very early childhood if children are given the possibility to watch contemporary dance performances created specially for their young minds.
Idea of the festival was born three years ago in the joint Embassy’s of Sweden and Lithuanian choreographers and dancers discussions about contemporary dance for children and youth. Since then many steps have been taken and now we can happily welcome you at the second international contemporary dance festival for children and youth in Lithuania - „Dansema“!
